Cooking
Classes at Professional Domestic Institute... From
Soup to Nuts & Everything in Between!
Good food is an essential part
of living well. Novice and seasoned cooks alike
can benefit from the year-round cooking courses
offered by Professional Domestic Services Institute.
Imagine what a tremendous benefit some new skills
will do for dinner time at your house!
Designed to be fun and interactive
- as well as educational - we encourage students
to be creative while they learn. Whether you are
just beginning or are an experienced cook who
would like to learn new techniques, you will surely
find a class to suit your needs. (This class is
a MUST for newly engaged couples!)
All our classes are limited to
just a few students at a time in order to provide
everyone with individualized attention. Hands-on
participation is not only encouraged, but required.
We believe that the only way to learn new cooking
skills is to practice them yourself.
Do
you need ideas for spectacular appetizers? Would
you like to learn more about how to prepare certain
kinds of meat, such as lamb or turkey? Do you want
to be able to produce show-stopping desserts? Or
learn to garnish plates attractively? Perhaps you
simply want to learn some tricks of the trade...
Whatever your reasons, you will find what you need
at Professional Domestic Institute’s cooking classes.
Instructor Carol Scudere brings her years of experience
not only in cooking for friends and family, but
also in cooking for the wealthy families she has
cared for over the years. Ask any of the many students
she has taught over the years, or any of the many
friends and family for whom she has prepared her
incomparable meals—her talents in the kitchen are
extraordinary!
Each class is approximately 3 hours in
length; hands-on participation is required.
Each class limited in size to 6 students
per class. This will allow more individualized
attention and it will afford students the
opportunity to choose the date and time that
works best for everyone participating.
Prepayment is required via MasterCard
or Visa. Personal checks are not accepted.
Refunds will be given only in the event
of a class cancellation by PDI.
Students must furnish their own aprons;
Professional Domestic Institute will supply

for everyone, anyone with a current, contagious
health issue will not be allowed in class.
Anyone with cold symptoms (coughing, runny
nose, etc.) will not be allowed to work with
food and will follow proper health prevention
habits.
